An AdaptSMU V2 tag has been installed correctly on this specific piece of equipment. The current engine hours for this piece of equipment were recorded at the time of installation. The date and time of installation should be recorded. Navigate to the Equipment Details Page |
Locate the field labelled Service Meter Units Log at the top right of the page and click the New button. |
The first field on this page will ask you which type of SMU entry you are creating, an Initial hour or an Adjustment entry to the log. For a new or replacement AdaptSMU V2 tag, set Manual Type to “Initial hours”. |
2 |
In the Collected At field, you’ll be prompted to select the date and the time of day, that the engine hours for the piece of equipment were recorded, which is when the AdaptSMU tag should have been installed, so that there’re no gaps in the recorded engine hours. |
3 |
Lastly, enter the engine hours as at the Collected at time in the SMU Value field |
5 |
Once all data has been entered, click the Create button to save the SMU log entry. The AdaptSMU V2 tag is now correctly configured and ready for use The AdaptMAC will download the data on refresh |
